What if it rains?
The game is flexible. You can pop into a coffee shop, choose to postpone the adventure to the next day, or even split it over two days.
Will it be too difficult?
Not at all! Some puzzles will make you think, but hints are always available if you need them. You will never get stuck — we have made sure there's always a way forward.
Will it be too physical?
The route covers around XXÂ km, and you'll find many coffee shops and pubs en route if you fancy a rest.
How long does a game last?
Our Geneva game typically lasts between 2 and 3Â hours, including about XXÂ minutes walking. This is an average duration and may vary depending on each participant's pace and insight. You can also choose to split it over two days!
Do I need to know the city streets?
Even if you've never been to the city before, you can still join in. Plenty of our players are visitors discovering the area for the first time. You will only need your own map to help you navigate the city.
Who can participate?
Anyone can take part in our games, though they're mainly created with adults and young adults in mind. Children under 12 are welcome to come along, but the experience isn't tailored for them.
Can this game replace a city tour?
Yes... kinda. This is a game first and foremost, but it is built on a foundation of accurate historical information about the city. You'll learn the big streaks of Geneva history: when it was first mentioned, how it grew, became independent, but also the fascinating anecdotes that few know about.
How can I book a game?
No booking needed. Simply buy an access code, and you will have immediate access to the game! We adapt to your schedule — play whenever you want up to a year after payment.
I haven't received my access code
Occasionally, confirmation emails can be mistaken for spam and sent to your email junk folder. If you haven't received your access code, check there first, and reach out to us if necessary.
